Like cosmos growing on the beach
Like waves crashing on the shore.
And even though the thoughts are powerful,
You still manage to make me laugh.
You fight every day to keep yourself alive
Like a protagonist in a Star Wars movie
But unlike those protagonists,
I get to know you
And I get to love you.
You are stunning
Like a starry summer night,
Like a clear field under a wide blue sky.
You remind me of the color blue.
The same blue as the bracelet I gave you.
You’re bright, subtle.
You’re powerful,
Like waves crashing on the shore
But unlike the sky,
And unlike the shore,
I get to know you
And I get to love you
You are refreshing
Like a breath of fresh air.
And I’m lucky I get to know you
